Children's music education keeps their brains fit!

Those who start playing musical instruments at a young age, have a sharper intelligence later in life.

According to a study conducted at the University of Kansas in the United States, people who start playing a musical instrument from a young age have more advanced brain functions and signs of aging of the brain start later.

A survey of 70 adults and music histories ranging in age from 60 to 83 reveals quite surprising results. People with at least 10 years of music experience outperformed their rivals without music experience in memory, organization and time management tests.

Brenda Hanna-Pladdy, conducting research at the University of Kansas, says that life-long music activity is the most beneficial exercise for the brain.
