21 weeks of pregnancyWe have prepared a great article about you. 🙂 We wish all the expectant mothers a pleasant reading.
Your baby now weighs between 350 grams and 400 grams and is about 20 cm tall.
- The baby will perform arm, leg and body movements in your uterus. Some movements can hurt you. 🙂
- Your baby may start hiccups to develop a swallowing reflex.
- It swallows amniotic fluid continuously and throws it out through the urine to circulate.
- Heart muscles begin to strengthen.
Health Advice to the Mother - Week 21 Pregnancy
As your baby grows in your womb, it can put pressure on your groin. Therefore, you may experience inguinal pains and constant urine desire. Don't worry that after pregnancy all of these problems will go away. 🙂
Your feet can start to ache as your body gets heavier, so if you prefer orthopedic shoes you can take more comfortable walks and reduce your pain.
If you have symptoms of varicose veins, we recommend that you choose clothes that will not tighten your knees and belly.
Nutrition in Pregnancy - Week 21 Pregnancy
By avoiding excessively salty and spicy foods, you may be affected as little as possible from reflux and nausea problems.
As we always say, the most important rule of nutrition during pregnancy is drinking plenty of water! Beside the water, be sure to feed on foods with high nutritional value. Remember, how healthy you eat; your baby becomes so healthy.
Since you are pregnant, you should not have the perception that I should eat more, your baby will be filled with the amount you eat.

Note from your baby:
Mommy, hello from our 21st week!
I have a wonderful surprise for you! I'm gonna kick it for the first time, see if you can feel it. I'm gonna touch your belly gently, I'm sure it'il make you very happy. I never want to hurt you and upset you. I see you give up your high-heeled shoes for me, you can wear as much as you want after I'm born. I liked moving my feet in my mother's belly the most during our 21st week. My dear family, what do you like most?
