Generally you can start exercising six to eight weeks after a cesarean section. However, you should talk to your doctor before beginning any type of exercise program.

As you set out to flatten your tummy, keep in mind that there's no such thing as "spot reduction." The only way to meet your goal is through a combination of aerobic exercise and toning. Walking, jogging, swimming, or biking are all great choices.
